An order that requires an employer to withhold support from a noncustodial parent’s wages and transfer that withholding to the appropriate agency (the Centralized Collection Unit, the State Disbursement Unit, or tribal child support agency). Sometimes referred to as a wage withholding, garnishment, or income assignment.
Child Support Services may request an employment verification form to be completed by your office.
The Office Child Support Services will send an Income Withholding Order to an employer if a client is employed or believed to be employed by that business.
