The Office of Child Support Service is holding a Child Support Awareness Month Art Contest. Custodial parents please encourage your children to participate in this fun and engaging opportunity.
There are three age groups for the contest with all instructions provided on the official entry form.
Age Group 0-6 Directions
Age Group 7-12 Directions
Age Group 13-19 Directions
Four children may be submitted on each entry form; for more children use additional entry forms.
Form Instructions
Please complete the official entry form, all fields required. Please list each child’s first and last name, including their year and month of birth, and mark their age category. Please mark if your phone is a mobile number or other and if you authorize text messages. Artist name MUST be written on the artwork. Contest is open to all children meeting the age requirements. A child support case is not required for participation.
Art Requirements
Complete a drawing based on the age group directions using only the approved materials including finger paints, crayons, markers, colored pencils, paints, pastels, decoupage, or collage.
Entries should be submitted on paper not to exceed 11” x 17”. A short poem or paragraph for age group 13-19 MUST be submitted handwritten or typed on a standard size notebook paper or 8.5” x 11” paper.

Prizes and Delivery
Prizes to be announced. Custodians of the winners will be notified by phone. Prizes will be presented at a convenient time and location by the Director of Cherokee Nation Office of Child Support Services. A group photograph with the winning piece of art will be posted to Cherokee Nation social media and may be released to other media outlets and websites.
